Everyone has unproductive days when nothing seems to align, especially as a mother, you have the ability to run on an empty tank for a good few miles. For the first time ever I got ‘artist block’, I had no miles left, just blank canvases. I took myself away from the studio for a few days, then one night I realised I better just paint, anything! Thankfully I got my Powersurge, while everyones asleep with no distractions. I bypassed the palette, paint was poured directly onto the board; just like applying foundation, sometimes the less you try, the better the outcome! Nocturnal painting was now a thing for me!
